The project “Establishing a funding foundation for biodiversity protection and environmental sustainability in Danang City, Vietnam” (in short, the “Conservation Fund” project) is implemented by GreenViet centre (Vietnam) and Gustav-Stresemann-Institut (GSI, Germany), co-funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam. This project aims to establish the Vietnam Wildlife Conservation Fund to mobilize funding sources and increase the capacity of local CSOs focusing on biodiversity conservation and environmental protection initiatives in Central and Central Highland, Vietnam.
In 2023, The Conservation Fund Project Management Board announced financial support for the education program to raise awareness for the conservation of primate populations in Son Tra peninsula, Da Nang.
The financial information is as follows:
1.Object:
a) Being an organization/social group legally established in Vietnam.
b) Working in the field of biodiversity conservation or environmental protection in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
c) Do not aim to make a profit
– Aim of the financial support: To raise the knowledge and awareness of students, young people in Da Nang city towards the protection of primates living in Son Tra peninsula, Da Nang through an awareness-raising education program.
Format: Organizing an awareness-raising educational program that is presented in two forms such as: contests or offline or online communication activities (online/ offline)
– Duration (4 months): from May, 10th 2023 – September, 10th 2023
– Location: Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang city.
-Budget: 45 million VND

(3) Competency profile/CV of the unit (Appendix 3 according to the form)

3.Evaluation and Selection
3.1 Evaluation and selection process:
(1) Checking the validity of the unit submitting the project proposal, the deadline for submission.
(2) Checking the capacity profile of the applicant.
(3) Jury (03 people) evaluates the plan, expected budget and capacity profile.
3.2Criteria for scoring:

– The first: 1 day after signing the sponsor agreement. – The second: 2 days after completing and satisfying operational and financial reporting requirements. |
