The project “Establishing a funding foundation for biodiversity protection and environmental sustainability in Danang City, Vietnam” (in short, the “Conservation Fund” project) is implemented by GreenViet centre (Vietnam) and Gustav-Stresemann-Institut (GSI, Germany), co-funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam. This project aims to establish the Vietnam Wildlife Conservation Fund to mobilize funding sources and increase the capacity of local CSOs focusing on biodiversity conservation and environmental protection initiatives in Central and Central Highland, Vietnam.
The Conservation Fund Project Management Board officially announced the financial support from the Conservation Fund Project with a budget of up to 117,000,000 VND for the planting of 600 trees in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Danang city. Following the instructions below:
- Summary of financial support:
1.1 Activities: Planting 600 trees in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city
1.2 Purpose:
– To increase the area of shade trees in public areas and streets in Hoa Khuong commune
– To communicate with the aim of raising awareness for people in Hoa Khuong commune about the benefits of trees and the necessity of planting urban trees.
1.3 Target:
Planting 600 shade trees in Hoa Khuong Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City.
1.4 Form of implementation
Implemented the planting of 600 trees and related communication activities in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city
1.5 Duration: 3 months. From July 20th – October 20th, 2023
1.6 Location: Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city
1.7 Sponsorship budget: 117,000,000 VND (One hundred and seventeen million VND)
- Eligibility of Applicant:
- a) Is a legally established organization/CSO in Vietnam.
- b) Activities in the field of biodiversity conservation or environmental protection in the Central region and Central Highlands
- b) Do not aim to make a profit
